I have never seen a Fort Worth school in the DMN rankings. Usually they cover the mid-Metroplex to Dallas and the ST covers mid-metroplex through Ft. Worth.

I cannot recall, but you probably won't find Rockwall or Poteet in the ST either.

Just a thought.

I believe it is up to the school to turn in records & stats. I know for a fact, FW Arlington Heights was always in the DMN the last couple of years. If a school turns in their scores and stats they are eligible. The only stipulation is circulation. I know they won't rank Sherman or Denison because they are considered out of their circulation, but they will rank Waxahachie and Corsicana.

It is what it is and I wouldn't put any stock in it until we shake out at Playoff time,

Half of the coaches don't even update their stats on a regular basis. Grapevine won both games last week and fell from #1 to #9 in the ST rankings (probably a good thing) and none of the pitching stats have been updated, so I wouldn't get too concerned.

Ok... a wishful thought... How about both papers covering baseball as thoroughly as Football.

I know I know... I have a better chance of winning the lottery.
