Trepfan - I know LJ is not at NC as he is in the Orioles organization. DId Scott Silverstein enroll at UVA - or is he playing in the Nationals organization?
Surely Scott is in Charlottesville.
The question is, how's he doing? Will he be OK to play in the spring?

Thanks for asking -- he has been in PT at UVA through the summer to present....and has made a "complete" recovery --- normal range/strength/pain free -- began taking "live" batting practice two weeks ago and will resume throwing program next week. He is schedule to compete for a starting role for the spring rotation.
How did LJ Hoes do in the minors? Will he move up next year?
Baseball Cube reports LJ had 49 hits in 159 ABs, playing in 48 games in the Gulf Coast League this summer - a BA of .308.
Looks like LJ Hoes is on his way. And it sounds like Silverstein is back on track at UVA. Any other StJ kids from last year's team playing college ball? How are the PVI kids doing, from Verdin at UGA to Murakami at Maryland to Bromley to the boys at St. John's Univ? Did that pitcher from BI who beat PVI twice go to a college to play baseball? Anyone from Good Counsel or Ryken or OConnell (Tessier is going to High Point Univ).
The pitcher from Ireton who beat PVI twice, Kevin O'Keefe, is at Moravian, a D III school in PA
Glad O'Keefe is playing--he was the only pitcher last year who seem to completely baffle PVI's lineup.
