Solid D2 baseball program . Rensaleer is not exactly a hotbed of activity .
My son had a workout for the coaches. He really liked the field and coaches. Unfortunately they didn't have any baseball money left. he did receive scholarship money from the school. The coach said a lot of the kids get more money from the school then they would baseball money. It makes me think they are saving the baseball money for the best players. Also, they have a JV program with about a total of 50 players. Too many in my opinion for a program, that is why baseball money is hard to come by. The coach did say he would receive some money his sophmore year. We decided to accept another offer that was strictly baseball money. To me there is more of a commitiment on school part if they offer baseball money.
