My '07 just got a last minute invite to St. Mary's All-Star Camp July 9-13. This college is in my son's top 3 (and probably most achievable picks) for college. So I think he should go no matter what. But my husband looked more closely at the camp details and we're wondering if it won't be challenging enough. It is listed on the St. Mary's website as a camp for 14-18 year olds. The letter from the coach, however, made it sound like an "elite" venue for the college to seriously look at potential recruits. Has anybody attended this camp and do they put the 07's and 08's together..or all the players put in the same group? Does it make sense to put potential college recruits in the same group as in-coming 9th graders?
