Trying to figure out why the stalker gun appears to read 2 or 3 mph less than the Jugs. Is the Stalker more accurate? Has anyone noticed the difference?

Do a "Find" on this sight and do the advanced search - it works well (i simply entered stalker jugs and came up with many other posts. Here is the first one that looked good.

This subject comes up often here. Some users feel that older Stalkers read a bit low compared with Jugs.
My best guess is that the latest versions of the Stalker Sport and the Jugs gun read about the same.
Stalker makes continual changes to the Sport without changing the model name. For example, Stalker Sports shipped in the past few months use a much improved battery that lasts longer and is easier to charge. Software built into the gun has been upgraded over the years without any mention of that fact.
In shopping for a used Stalker Sport be sure to determine when the gun was manufactured.
