Star-Telegram HS coverage??

Anyone else notice the Star-Telegram is not covering HS Baseball this season? In the past there was at least a weekly update and articles about district games. (Almost as much coverage as HS Football)

I know one of the writers is now covering the Rangers (Anthony Andro) ..
Congrats to Andro - he did an awesome job.

I wrote an email to complain -
- newsroom@star-telegram.com
- sports@star-telegram.com
- ezarate@star-telegram.com(FW Preps Editor)

and the response was - yes the coverage has shrunk over the past year - but I can go to DFW Varsity to get the stats/ leader board (Wow - really !! )

One of the ONLY reasons I still receive the paper was for HS Sports coverage ..

I have to say DMN has continued to do a great job covering all HS Sports ..

KD... they are all about hieghts too. most of the reporters and editors live in or around the hieghts area. district 7-4A is one of the states worst baseball districts. We have a local paper(Times record) that sends reporters to every game, they cover boswell, saginaw, lake worth, and castleberry. Seems to me the keller paper is pretty good at covering the local games too.

Either way the star-telegrams coverage is terrible!
