My son will be in exotic locale that is St Charles, MO.

In all seriousness, while not as exciting Fort Myers, he will be at Lindenwood University in a round robin with another organization. My son likes playin there and they have a great facility.

I don't think the big tournaments start until the following weekend up here, when high school playoffs are just about over.

My son will also me in Ft. Myers. He is so excited to start the summer season.

We'll be in Ft Myer's for the 18U as well. Son will be playing for the South Fl Marlins, wearing #5.

Freshman still in playoffs then Legion, 11 y/o playing in Davis Ca.

I am so glad we are done with all of that traveling! We are just starting the H.S. District tournament (to be followed by Regionals and, hopefully, State). Summer season doesn't really start until the third week of June.

My son will be spending the Summer following the conditioning schedule from his college coach and playing Legion ball. There will be a very deep rut between the YMCA and the baseball field!

Regarding the PG Memorial Day Tourney in Ft. Myers does anyone who has been there before know the amount of colleges that attend? Most of the D1 conference tournaments are this week. Its a big event with like 75 teams in it.

There are some, but not as many as the other tournaments. There is some representation, and of course PG takes notes. Mainly, it's a good start for the summer. Some schools in Fl have been done for awhile if they didn't get anywhere in playoffs, so they are probably anxious to start.

Yes, my son's last game was April 24. So, he and I have been itching for this weekend to get here. It's a great first tournament, IMO. He gets to catch up with old teammates and I get to see their parents. I love going to Ft. Myers.

In Ohio, summer ball is just about to begin. First real tournament is Memorial Day weekend in Columbus OH. 2014 will be there with his summer team. Probably half of best teams in Ohio will be there. This is followed closely by PrepBaseballReport because gentleman running this tournament, also, runs PBR in Ohio. I don't think many colleges (if any) colleges will be there but a very good warm up to showcase season.
