I graduated from High School last year, but decided not to play baseball. However, I'm aware of the mistake I made now and trying to do everything I can to get back on the field. What are some ways to let coaches know about me? I have emailed some coaches but got minimal response, what else can be done?

tsmith043,
I say GO-FOR-IT!!!
Not sure all of the routes you should take, but if theres an open try-out,..dont guess,..DO IT!
I hope you've maintained your workout patterns.
Being in shape is key. Are you attending college now? If so, talk to the bb coach. Have him give you some direction.
If basbeall is your goal,..you gotta believe.
Dont let anyone tell you no.
Dreams can happen!!!!
Let us know what you find out!
Best of luck kid!!!

tsmith, Were there coaches or scouts that knew you in HS and that would be interested in seeing you play in college? If so, you should contact them and let them know of your desires. Also, look for some low cost showcases around the state... usually some opportunities like that in Lexington. By using those, you could gage interest in yourself without spending huge dollars. I also agree with the advice of Infield regarding the open pro tryouts. There's usually some of those held at the Legends field and in Louisville during the summer. You need to get on that though, because the majority of them are in June and July I believe. Did you have interest from any colleges while in HS? If so, pick up the phone and call those guys. If nothing else, they could probably provide some direction for you.
Here are two upcoming opportunites that you may want to look into. Lincoln Memorial University is having an open showcase for unsigned players and have invited several other schools to attend. It is being held on Saturday June 2nd. Chattanooga State is also hosting a tryout camp on Friday June 8th. You should also continue to contact JUCO coaches. I am sure most all of them would find a time to work you out, either individually or in a group setting.

TN has lots of quality JUCOs. Do as swdawg suggests and contact some of them. Some have open tryouts and I'm sure others will arrange a date for you.

As far as NAIA in KY. We are fortunate to have several nationally ranked programs in our state. Those programs for the most part do have JV teams which would provide you an opportunity to develop and to demonstrate your ability. There is a new program beginning at Asbury in Wilmore, KY. The coaches there are quality guys. There's a small NAIA in Western KY called Mid Continent. They're a tiny program that has struggled building a program. However, the coach there recruited my son a couple of years ago and was a GREAT guy!

You might consider some DIII opportunities as well. Centre in Danville works hard to build a program and you might want to consider talking with their coach. Very nice school... but very pricey too.
