I am 16 year old sophomore, and im 6'1'' 215.
Due to a shortage of catchers on my JV team, that's where I play. My coach said he was sorry I am unable to pitch much this year due to only one other catcher, who is not very good.

I've always been a starting pitcher when I do, except for a few instances when I came in in relief.
I like the relief job a lot.
The Varsity team doesn't have a quality closer for the next two years which is the role i would like to step in.
They already have a catcher who is outstanding and I also want playing time.
I throw a 4 or 2 seam fastball consistently for strikes, a Curveball, and a Knuckle-Curve that drops off the table.
I have the mental ability to be a closer, I don't mind the pressure.

My question is, what do I need to do to get ready to be a closer in high school baseball?

Thank you for your time.
