I didn't know SFA was getting back into baseball till I saw your post. I am an '89 SFA grad, wasn't really into baseball back then, so I didn't know if they did or didn't have a team. Now that I have a son who is into baseball and that is basically our life I had checked back into SFA athletics and was surprised they did not have a baseball team. I think the East Texas, Gulf Coast area is very rich with baseball talent and thought it was a shame to not have a team. We will have to travel back to Nac. to see some games.

I also graduated from SFA. I attended games in their first weekend. They did a very good job recruiting and have a really good staff.

He has some great kids n the program. Good luck to them.

As an alumni of SFA, I was thrilled to see them bring baseball back to Nac. I watched several of the kids on the team play high school and juco ball in Weatherford and try to keep up with their progress. My son and I are planning on catching a game or two in Nacagodoches, as well as seeing the team play on the road at DBU in April.

BTW...Where can you purchase a fitted game hat? None at the UC or Varsity Bookstores; I can only find the Zephyr hat at hatworld.com...

I found a fitted hat at the UC that was very similar to the game hats. Don't believe the actual game hats are for sale. If you join the "On Deck Circle" you will recieve a fitted game hat.
