I coach high school baseball and UIL changed this rule a few years ago. You cannot have ANY players on your summer team from the school you coach at. You cannot coach your own school's kids in the fall either.
Is there any way there are two different cases being discussed here? I've played a Berkner summer team and they have lots of kids from their HS but their HS coach doesn't coach them, someone else does. Just wondering if that was the confusion.
