Check out Premier Pitching Performance (P3) in St. Louis. My son's college pitchers who aren't pitching on the Cape or with Team USA spend their summer there, developing.
This is a great question. Someone should talk to Driveline and have them franchise or get private equity funding for a broader physical rollout of locations. I mean is there a nationally recognized brand for High School and College training for baseball (or baseball and other sports). This is clearly lacking on a national scale and quite honestly is a real business opportunity.
I was able to tour the Atlanta Hawks practice facility a few years ago and they had a D1 sports franchise in there. Looked similar to driveline but not 100% focused on baseball. Just did a search and now I see one "coming soon" in the town next door. Thank you to the OP for making me think this through today!
We’ve been looking into Tread Athletics, not just for summer but I assume that option exists. We have heard good things from a teammate but we are also looking for more reviews on it.
We looked at Driveline and Top Velocity. Very different philosophies but I think both are really good programs. Probably depends a bit on the philosophy used at the college. Some colleges utilize driveline and weighted balls and some don't. You want to do something he can continue during the season.
