Hey, does anyone know anything about the summer ball leagues in Florida:  The Florida League, South Florida Collegiate League, or the Florida Gulf Coast League?  I know the Gulf Coast league is relatively new, only a year old, but I wasn't sure if anyone had any details on the other 2 leagues.  For example, price, do the players get to stay with host families?  Is it something where the player reaches out to the leagues/teams, or does it have to come from the college coach? How does the  level of competition compare to other summer leagues?

I have a player, will be a rising NAIA sophomore, who I have been trying to get him to talk to his college coach about getting into a league for next summer.  But, it seems he wants to until he has his fall exit interview to bring it up.

Thanks for the help!
