Hi, I live in California but have family in Kingsport. I am currently a freshman at a community college in CAlifornia. I am looking to play summer ball in TN as I am hoping to transfer to a SEC school.
1. I would appreciate any leads if there are openings in any collegiate level team in the Tri-Cities first, and anywhere in a couple of hour radius.
2. Do any SEC coaches usually see any of these games? I have sent information to some already, and will send more when games begin, just wondering from experience.
Thanks for any and all help.

There used to be a Tennessee Thunder team based in the Johnson City area that played in a collegiate league. You can probably google them and get some info. Most of these players are already enrolled in colleges, so I don't know how many college scouts are around.

There was also a woodbat league in Nashville. My son's 18-U summer team played in the league a few summers ago. It had a lot of Juco guys from the middle Tennessee area.

Finally, there are quite a few Knoxville area college players that play in the Stan Musial League. Even some of the University of Tennessee guys who didn't leave town for wood bat leagues would play in there.
