Sounds like you are thinking of the Jayhawk League. There is no team in Wichita. El Dorado is the closest town to Wichita that hosts a team in this league.
Thanks! That may be the team. I thought it was probably in the Jayhawk League but I couldn't find a team from Wichita. Are they competitive?

Here is El Dorado's website. Yes, they are usually very competitive. I believe they took second in their league last year and finished 4-2 in the NBC World Series last year.

The Wichita area has their own summer league. There were four teams from Wichita in the NBC World Series last year. Don't know if they have their own website or not, but they are in the Walter Johnson League. Link to all leagues, names and address' that are affiliated with NBC are below.
