Hey my name is Nick Spisak I'm a recent transfer from Indiana Univerisity (Hoosiers) to West Chester University in Pennsylvania. I redshirted my only year at IU and do not have any college statistics yet. I was looking for a good college team for the 2006 summmer. I am a member on the West Chester University team and will be playing this spring. If there are any teams looking for infielders I would love to play. Any additional information such as my coach's information and personal information I can be reached at ns625964@wcupa.edu.

Thank you,

Nick Spisak

Hi, Nick.

Don't miss the opportunity to discuss your summer prospects with your coaches at West Chester, as college coaches are usually quite tied into the summer league network. Also, keep in mind that many summer team rosters undergo a material amount of change as the college season is winding down (due to academic and health issues, mostly); so, there's still time to secure a spot (even if it's tentative, dependent on a vacancy coming open).

Best of luck to you in every respect!
My son plays not far from you, in Philly, and played in two east coast, wooden bat leagues. It is possible to contact these teams directly from the info on the league web sites, BUT!!! college coaches are the standard gateway to these summer teams.
Specifically, college coaches place their players on these teams expecting a real (playing time) committment from the summer league coaches.
Bottom Line: If a team is in the hunt at the end, the best players will always play, but if you talk your way onto one of these teams, without your coach's support, you will likely see more bench and less dirt during the first 2/3rds of the season.

good luck,
