Summer team

I am assuming you are on a college roster? There is a league on Long Island for college players to stay active during the summer. Most college coaches help in the placement of their players in the higher level leagues. Private me if you need any help.

From December to now he went from 15 to 21 in age according to his posts

Based on what I'm reading here, the young man is stating that he is "looking for a summer team for a 21 year old" who happens to be his brother. God bless a brother like that. He is not suggesting that he is 21. What does "about 87--- whose gun was that on?" have to do with a young looking for a team for a kid that is 21. I was led to believe that this web site was to help out those people who are looking for information. I guess I'm just a little confused on some of the remarks by some of the old timers. Maybe I'm not getting something. I generally try to take these post at face value-maybe I shouldn't do that. I certainly do not mean to insult anyone with this post.

I don't see anything about any of TR's posts that should cause any problems. It is a legitimate question, juggs or stalker, there is a difference and when the reply came that he and his coach both have radar gloves, well, if I was driving down I-95 and a cop threw a radar glove infront of my car and tried to give me a ticket for speeding I think I could beat that in court, LOL. Anyone who is trying to confirm velocity with a radar glove seems suspicious to me. Then again the water up here in MA hasn't been good in awhile. But the beer is just fine!!

my bro doesn't only have a radar glove his coach also gunned him.

i feel as though you are combative at times in your reply's. it could be the way i take things.(who's gun was that on)didn't sound like what kind of gun was that on, or who was gunning you.but after 5500 post here you have seen it all.what really gets me is you tell me (i don't know who you are to give me lectures.)who are you ?i am just another guy that really likes to read about peoples baseball adventures.and i don't have the computer savy to do background checks on poster's nor do i want to. the kid asked a question didn't deserve your reply in my opinion.some might this one didn't. we have all kinds of stuff in the water up here, this time of year mainly ice.

I don't think that it's necessary to know a poster's bio to answer his question. I don't think that most of the posters are trying to be deceiving or manipulative. They don't have some ulterior motive for asking for help. But then I am an unassuming Southerner.

when the same ID posts as a 15 year old and then comes back a few weeks later as a 21 one has to wonder-- I don't know why you guys want to keep kicking this around--the kid, the 15 year old came on and explained what had happened--thats fair enough--now we know the story

TR Because you are an old timer you should understand the need for an answer to the original question by the kid. Do you know of a summer team for the kid? If you don't then it is not your job to question the validity of the statement. Just move on if you don't know the answer to the kids question. I know you have a job with the College Select program so you should be able to help the kid out...which is the purpose to the site, right?

I do not recommend teams to players when I do not know the players talent level or desire. I am not that stupid.

The 21 didn't even say whether he pitched in college or not

Isnt it possible that I have contacted the player thru a PM or email or even spoken with him on the phone-- I think you might well be the same guys under different ID's just trying to stir the pot

Why do you even bother with these guys?? After I read the thread I suspected a fox in the hen house too, until the kid explained himself. These guys just are lookin to stir the pot without anything in the pot. As most of us here know you have given great advice and care about kids more then these guys will ever know.
I have been here for a couple years now and I don't always agree with everyone but... I respect your posts because you speak your mind and try to give any helpful information you can. If these guys know so much then they should be answering kids questions and not badgering back and forth with other members. Keep the posts coming Tom and have a great season.. Here and on the field.
