So far I have read that PG showcases are usually very good. We are looking at the Sunshine SE in Ft. Myers. Time is running out to register. Is this a good choice for a RHP (Jr)?

Your junior RHP needs to be in the PG data base, and the Sunshine SE will be a good way to get him in there. If his inclination is to go north to school, maybe the Sunshine NE would serve better. With either you will be fine.

If your son isn't 6'+, and/or throwing 85+, he'll probabily get rated a 7 at best. But! You WILL be contacted by some schools because of his attendance even with a 7.

Obrady, not too caty at all. He is 6'3 and throws in the mid 80's.
One reason I am rethinking is that a local showcase is scheduled for the day after PG. It has a good rep but is a smaller showcase. We have been to one and the pitching aspect wasn't that great. The cost however, is about 1/4 of PG.
