If East makes it it'll be because of the two tough games against Martin early in the year. Wink If we could get your son and dadofones son to come pitch for us we might could make it back.

Easier for you to transfer to our school instead of vice-versa! (hint hint)
Austin Westlake usually has an easier draw, do count them in.

Pflugerville is loaded and reloaded, they will take a spot.

Should be interesting to see who comes out of Houston this time, but count on Langham Creek and Cypress Fairbanks.

Midland Lee had the two senior pitchers last year so I think their out, as is Coppell, look for Flower Mound or Hebron to fill a spot.

I know PD was kidding when you excluded Arl Martin, count them in....maybe all the way to RR.

From DFW I'll take Southlake at playoff time. Others will just be a luck of the draw.

I do think teams like Coppell and Martin have as good a chance as any of the others assuming they show up at playoff time, perform to their abilities, and can play with the heightened expectations that I think will be on both teams.

Flower Mound will be lucky to be number 4 in district 6-5A considering what they lost last year and the previous 2 before that. If they couldn't get to the round of 16 with those teams, don't look for them to do much this year.

I would also look for another surprise team like Plano West was last year as I think there will be more parity in the high school game and teams this year than some of the previous years. I don't think it will be them but think there may be one. I wouldn't count out the Allens and Rowletts of the world either.

My favorite for State would be Georgetown.

I hear what you are saying about Flower Mound but I would not count them out just yet. Their three teams last spring combined for a 66-5 record and 4 of those losses were on Varsity. I really think it will come down to a battle between Coppell and Flower Mound for the 6-5A district championship.
