Here's an interesting one.

There's a kid at a D1, who has played football for 4 years(no redshirt) and has used up his eligibility in that sport.

Last year, he played some on the baseball team, and this Spring he is playing baseball full-time.

He is listed as a Senior on the baseball roster, but wouldn't he get another year of baseball eligibility based on the 4 in 5 rule?

I'm asking if he still has eligibility for baseball?

If so, he should be listed as a Redshirt Jr to be consistent with others on the roster who are also in their 4th year of school, but only 3rd year of baseball eligibility.

Not sure if he is going to come back next year, or where he stands in terms of graduation hours?

He will no longer have his full football scholarship, and I'm not sure that baseball would offer him enough to stay another year, or even if he wants to?
He's only in his second year of baseball eligibility, so why not call him a redshirt sophomore? Smile

Seriously, I don't know of any requirement on how players are listed on a web page. It sure isn't an official roster.

Anyway, if I understand the situation correctly, he will have eligibility next year provided he either hasn't graduated or can meet the alternate requirements (e.g. enters a graduate programat the smae school.)
