I humbly ask the HSSBW family to please pray for the family of Syd Thrift at this time.

We have lost possibly the greatest baseball man on the face of this earth earlier today.

Without this man who labored over a half-century in professional baseball, many players would have never touched a professional baseball field including me. may Syd's soul rest in peace good night board Shep
