An accurate analysis. Cape Henry has typically had much more strength in it's basketball program, and has gone up against some of the best public schools and competed. The Lacross program of late as well has been real strong. Considering the fact that in the most recent past, the baseball team has had a rough time finding nine players, they have done well. Yes the competition is overall weaker in the TCIS than in the publics. And yes, some would say that baseball at GCA is more of a "business" than in the other privates locally. There is only a small core of 3 or so players at Cape Henry who are dyed in the wool baseball players looking to play in college. The rest of the supporting cast is there to play baseball in high school and nothing more. Robert Morey, Pete Levitt, and Jonathan Whitehead all played on a Driller AAU team which has competed against the best players in this area, and won as many games as they lost. They have played and suceeded at one time or another against Neil Ramierez, Gregg Amoroso, and Sean Ray. Pete was on the same Virginia HEat team with them for a couple of years. The Dolphins will play a few publics this coming weekend at the Hampton Roads Invitational starting this Saturday when Levitt starts against Indian River. We will see what we will see. Morey won tonight against Norfolk Christian, 6-4
