Anyone have any thoughts on the TCIS this year? Any scores from early or preseason games? I know GCA graduated most of their starting lineup, but still has probably the best overall pitching in the conference (McDonald, Curry, etc.). NSA also lost most of their starting lineup but always manage to field a very competitive team. CHCS has most of their players returning and perhaps this is the year they can put it all together. Games against Atlatic Shores on Thursday and Centreville on Saturday should be an indication of how they're progressing. News or predictions for any of the other teams?

In 15 innings Greenbrier Christian beat Cape Henry 6-5. Christian McDonald went 7 for Greenbrier giving up 5 runs. Michael Curry came in for 8 and shut Cape Henry down. Jack Wynkoop started for Cape Henry going 8 innings and allowing 5 runs. Tyler Ballard followed and went 5 innings with no runs allowed. Greenbrier won with a walk-off homerun (off Brian Wacker) in the 15th. The game was a little sloppy early but both teams picked it up a notch later in the game and made some excellent defensive plays to keep the score tied. Greenbrier Christian is now 7-0 in the conference while Cape Henry is 6-1.
