Anyone ever went to this or have thoughts on it?

Son wants to go, but he is only 14.

Not sure it is ideally suited for his age, other than the experience of seeing what a showcase is, and what to expect when he gets older.

Thanks.

At his age it will be more the experience factor. My son is 16 and has attended events like this for a few years. I think it gets them prepared for the future. It will give him an opportunity to see higher level skills. My son attended TCU's pitching camp earlier this year and got a lot out of it. I would also recommend looking into the DBU camps and showcases. I know they limit the number of participants so there is a more one on one interaction (pitchers limited to 20, etc). In my opinion the more events they can attend (and you can afford) the better. Good Luck!!!
