Home Teams Online. Free for basic, the upgraded sites are fairly inexpensive, and very easy to use. Ours has minors so it is password protected and can't send the link, but check out their unlocked sites. I like it much more than League Lineup and Eteamz.

looked at that, you couldn't keep stats on it. they do put together nice stuff though.

HTO has stats. The free basic package doesn't, but once you upgrade it does.

I've used leaguelineup.com for baseball and basketball. It's easy to use. Most of the features are free. Eteamz has had security problems in the past.

Can anyone post their schools websites on here, for examples. Also looking for possible layouts and ideas.

Depends on what you are looking to do with it. Those listed are good free sites....but I did mine at: MySportSite.com. You have a ton of options and it becomes a great addition to the program. I created ours last year when I got the head job here...and we've had other 18,000 hits in one year! It does have an expense...but we can sell online advertising through the site (which we will do this year) that will more than pay for it.
It has become a vital part of what we do and the parents and community love it....as do the college coaches I've talked to about our players.

I use this site, it has lots of features and is reasonable in price.

On the front page of HSBBW there is a section on "Make your own - Team Website" There are all kinds of recommendations and examples.

Personally I have found that stats and stats programs are a problem and cumbersome so I just use a spreadsheet that has 50 games linked to a main page and then create a .pdf from it and post it somewhere.(or send it out to the coaches) We actually don't keep our stats public, just the coaches get them. Prevents a whole host of internal issues and competititors can't see them.

It's pretty easy to do yourself. Using wordpress makes it very easy and with all the plugins available, customizing is very simple. If you have a basic working knowledge of computers - it should be no problem. I have some info at,

thanks for all the suggestions we have gone with HTO, i found that they were easy to use, they gave me a month trial period. I was ablt to do alot of cool things and after i created it and set it up we got a sponsor to grab the cost of an all-star level. when we get it up and running to full capacity i will give the link.
