Oh,
I'd say if at all possible DO BOTH! They are both 1st class organizations and your son will see results because of it. My son attended Team One in Tempe and got interest from schools who never would have contacted him w/out his attending. The only PG my son has been able to make was Jupiter, which I regret. (Not Jupiter, but not being able to attend another event)
If you can only do one, maybe others will be able to add their perspective.
Good luck!

I noticed that the Team One South (Atlanta) is 7/16-18 and the Perfect Game 18U World Championships are held 7/12-18 in Marietta. If a player is on a fairly high profile travel team that is playing in Marietta, does he pass up the Team One? I don't think that we have much choice because the coach has already told him that he is expected to be with them the entire week. Just didn't make alot of sense to me to have both events during the same time period.
First, I believe the Perfect Game event is the premier tournament of the summer - this year from July 12-18. My ballclub, the Central Florida Renegades, will be participating.

Team One at Georgia Tech is always the same weekend - this year it is July 17-19. Last year, the PG event was July 5th week - not the July 12th week.

PG has pool play from Monday to Friday. Teams that do not make the playoffs play one game on Saturday. The playoffs start Saturday as well.

Team One will start sometime that Saturday afternoon with the bulk of the showcase Sunday and Monday. On Sunday there are only four teams left in PG anyway. Players from my team will be able to do both events if they choose.

If I can be of any assistance drop me a email at BobT1BB@aol.com and I will try to help you resolve this issue.

I had Ryan call the Coach again and let him know that he's committed to them and won't be going leaving. He also found out that after the PG event they leave from there to go somewhere else to play for a few days, before returning home. Looking at the dates, it doesn't look like Team One will work out at all...unless he can get in at Arizona or Houston. Even then, I'm not sure if it would be worth the $1,000 the whole thing would cost.
