We have used this app for several different sports. The free version is somewhat limited, but can work ok. The paid version is obviously better. I like that you can send automated reminders either via push notification, text or email (users set this preference). It makes contacting parents/players easier since all contacts are stored in one place. I have recommended it to other coaches.

Teamsnap is an app available for iOS and Andriod operating systems for mobile devises, but it can also be accessed on a regular computer. The app stores your players with contact information and can also store your schedule, both games and practices. It allows you to easily contact people and it lets members of your team see the roster and schedule. Functionality depends on whether you are using the free or paid version.

Awesome. thanks folks.

JCG- thanks for the heads up about gamechanger...good looking out. I'll probably end up going that route. I dont have a very big team and usually our schedules are pretty predictable, but I have been wanting a better way to reach out to parents. Overall, it probably isnt as necessary for me as it would be for coaches in bigger schools and whatnot.
