The Tebow bill continues to gain support in the legislature, where it passed both houses again this year, but the governor has again vetoed it. There is, at least this year, not enough support in the legislature to override the veto.
I doubt this would ever rise to the level of an election issue in a governor's race, so it would seem that the future of this is just a matter of pot luck in terms of who becomes the next governor and how they feel about it. But, we have the current governor for this year and next, so it would seem this issue is not going anywhere until 2018 at the very earliest.
I remain opposed to the whole idea, but whether you're for or against, it looks like nothing is going to change over the next two years.
