Kyle- as a fellow "computer nerd [expletive] cruncher", I appreciate the information you've posted here. There is very little- if any- rebuttal for data. Thanks for teaching me something I lacked knowledge of prior to reading this thread.
To anyone who thinks Kyle doesnt know what hes talking about come on down, I' ll put his stable of arms against anyones. My son Julian, has done nothing but gain strength and velocity working here at Driveline. He routinely throws back to back days with no soreness or injury whatsoever. Oh, btw he's a 5'10 170lb kid who throws up to 94 off a mound..after throwing laser long toss from foul pole to foul pole at places like Safeco field. Funny, Driveline clients are the most durable and hardest throwing pitchers in Wa state. Not to mention always at the top of the velo lists at places like Area Code, and the AZ fall classic. If you want to not develop your arm durability and velo stay with your current program. If you wanna throw hard, and stay healthy go to Driveline, and see Kyle!
It would be interesting to see updated results after a year on one of these programs. Do these athletes continue to show increasing velocity and sustained arm health after a year or more on the program?

Yes, they do - so long as they stay on the program. Like a diet or an exercise program to lose weight, going on/off and not being dedicated won't help the results.
I estimate we'll have at least two pitchers in the big leagues this year who have used some variant of our customized programs. (Trevor Bauer, Ryan Buchter) A third has a chance depending on how well his year goes in AAA. (Caleb Cotham)
As for HS kids, we have one that is a Top 100 draft prospect (though Top 50 perhaps after his performance at the PG MLK tournament this weekend) and a 2015 draftee who is 6'4" and hitting 92 MPH - I expect him to pitch at 90-92 this year in high school ball. Both were (and are) extremely dedicated athletes. The 2015 draftee was throwing 70 MPH when I started training him in 2012.
So overall I've been very pleased with the results we've had. I must stress that weighted balls are only part of the program.
My son just completed his second round of Velocity training. His first time in Jan of 2013. He just finished his second time in Jan of 2014. Here is his change over the year.

A freshman throwing 84, that's sweet. Stay on the program!
He does an 8 week program before before the season, just started another one. He is looking to get an additional 2 to 3 mph out of this one. He doesn't do the program once he starts throwing. He will continue to do the holds as a warm up before he throws.
