It is probably a good sign when the first thing on campus you see, coming from the interstate side, is the ball field.

We just stopped in on the way home from a tourney at Carson Newman. A nice security guard gave us information and a small tour. It was a small, but beautiful campus with several muti level dorms.

Athens had most of the chain eating places and a charming old-fashioned downtown area next to the campus.

At under 1000 students, my son did not pursue it farther; sorry we cannot help you on the coach.
If I am not mistaken, Reed Bromley, an All WCAC star at PVI last year, committed to Tennessee Weslyan. If you go on the PVI Panthers Baseball website, you can confirm that. I mention it because some PVI fans frequent the HS Baseball Web and may be able to offer insight in T-W.

I know that T-W has a great baseball program right now. Check out their website.
