A buddy of mine swears by him. I am going to read his stuff after he is done with it but I am not going to buy it. He swears it is simple as possible which I like...will let you know

My collegete son was given the EBook by a teammate. He hasn't said much on it but from what I glean from him and Tweeks websight. It seems to be more "tweaking" of the rotational style. Everybody thinks they see something in a professional MLB swing that no one else has seen. He does make a good argument about bringing the barrel to the ball instead of the more often touted "hands to the ball" other thoughts anyone?

Rotational, linear, and elite are all marketing terms.

I have his stuff.  He doesn't really make it clear what he wants you to look at differently.  After reviewing it, it looks like it mostly about the interplay between stride and hands with a primary focus on timing.

Bobby is a good guy and I am sure that if you contact him via the contact on his website, he will answer any of your questions.  Like all other hitting gurus, Bobby thinks he has something different and special to sell and so, it is his business.  Once, he was active on the various sites but has now settled into his business.  Noting wrong with that.

Tewks has a solid following in the Nashua, NH area along with Austin Wasserman they're known as the ABB guys. They have a small facility and run an AAU program. It's never been just about one thing - it's a "program" incorporating exercise. Another one of his guys (one of my sons friends) did really well this past summer in the FCBL - breaking HR/RBI records, named as MVP for the summer, and generating MLB interest.

Bobby also threw to Josh Donaldson at this year's all star home run derby... I was umpiring a game for one of their teams that night. Suffice to say it was a very quick game as those boys just wanted to get home to watch Bobby pitch.

I spent about an hour last night looking over his book. I can't say I read it all, I did read a fair amount and scanned the rest pretty solid. For me to have a full opinion I may have to buy the book and be able to log on to see the actual videos along with what he is writing...I believe that would help clear up some of the items that didn't quite make sense to me.

Gut feeling at this time is the guy is solid, he is marketing a system that he believes in. I think he has put a tremendous amount of time into developing what he is calling his Elite system.

Honestly I don't get it enough yet to have a full opinion but I think much like most things in life you are going to need to take the pieces that work for you and or the ones you agree with and see what the best way to implement them are for yourself. I do think some of what he says is trying to reinvent the wheel a bit but he has some good thoughts that seem logical and well thought out.

Best guy out there in my opinion, and I've looked at most.  Well worth the money for the book. He was able to better EXPLAIN and SHOW my son what I've been trying to teach...

There is room for individuality (ie you don't have to leg kick like Donaldson), but in my opinion, he is the best at understanding and explaining the physics and kinetics of hitting.  You might have to read/watch some of it a couple times to really get it. FWIW I really like John Peabody and Jerry Brewer as well.

It's actually more about the sequence of the swing, and how to generate bat speed while creating the most efficient (long in the zone) swing plane.

A few years ago at USA Tournament Bobby was one of our coaches. He and I discuss

hitting one night at the Hotel. Some one should have filed our discussion.

Joe Morgan the Reds 2b and I were at a Clinic in SF. They asked Joe to talk about "base stealing and base running. Joe said "do you want the 10 minute or 10 hour discussion".

There are many versions to the conclusion.

What is the hitters role?

Bob
