Texans Playing in Omaha During the CWS

Or posters playing? I will update as always but we need to pick up another pitcher or two. We are just getting hit hard by injuries this summer. Is T-bird going to be up there?

Any websites so we can keep up with them?

How insolent of me to omit the posters that play. Thanks for the reminder. We also have posters/players in the CWS. Would love to hear their contributions as well.

Games start today at 8:30. 10 boys that will be heading to Northwest and one going to Ponder

Won the first one 7-2. Beat a team out of CO. Southlake 14u team won there first game also

Looks like you will have good weather until Friday, maybe Thursday. We get the Friday but don't play until Saturday when we should have sunny and great weather until Tuesday.

We're not playing so hot right now. Lost our first two games due to combinations of untimely bad defense and pitching. However, somehow we still have a shot at the championship bracket. Will update tomorrow...

We just ran out of steam as far as pitching goes. As for them, they had a going -to-be sophomore pitcher from the Cal State Fullerton squad ready to go. We definately we still crushing the ball, managing to get 4 or 5 hits and the rest just right at them.

We had a blast though, coming back from awful pool play, being a 26th seed surprising a lot of higher seeds. Wouldn't change a thing. I would recommend more teams to attend a tournament like this next year during the CWS as we all had fun. Many stories and memories have come out of this trip.

As for the Marston Blackhawks...we are done for the summer. Good luck to all during the rest of the summer and hopefully the weather will cooperate as well.

I guess Marston has to coach the college boys now.
