can anyone tell me about this situation? is it going to be D-2 or naia? who is in the rumor mill to get the job? heard they are going to hire now and start next fall 2006. it is in Laredo correct?

all these hits on the sight and know one knows anything about this place. guess that tells me something about it
The school website does not show it has a baseball program - it's located i Laredo, TX.
Per the admissions documents at Texas A&M International ...
"Men's tennis, women's tennis, men's baseball, women's softball and track and field will also be offered as demand, funding and facilities make their implementation a positive move for the University." (written in 2003)
It sounds like that there was a demand and they are planning on starting the program (based on your post). I would imagine that they would stay NAIA in all sports.
Call the athetic department and find out !!!
