Thank you coach

I just want to say thank you to a special coach, a hard nosed, head strong passionate son of a ....; due to some internal issues he has stepped away from coaching for the balance of the summer. He had spent a tremendous amount of time and effort helping establish a new league while coaching/running the 18U team - no son on the team, 2 older teens and 2 younger ones at home. He invested a minimum of 15-20 hours per week of personal time weekly. The situation was a little controversial, doesn't need to be explained in an open forum.

Just a big thank you, with a little note... without the odd *** kicking some players never develop. My son owes a lot to him for his honesty, intensity and integrity.

You've described, in my opinion, a good man liner. It's obvious that his method and style wasn't to everyone's liking, but it was to your liking. I'm sure he appreciates your gratitude and support.
