That seems like an unusual amount of turnover. I realize some may be just typical retirements, but what explains the high number?
I'd say it is the increasing amount of time required to run a competitive program. The Green Day policy, which was designed to give HS coaches more off-season involvement has turned running a team into a year-long activity.
