The Blue-Grey Classic-National Battle of the States

Tar, Jordan's invitation is to represent the Illinois group in the Blue-Grey Battle of the States II or III in Kissimmee Fla. The dates are August 27-20 or October 29-31. You play a minimum or 5 games and as many as 8. they claim that last years event drew nearly 80 colleges and 17 pro scouts. Right now we're in the middle of the CABA 15U World Series in Crystal Lake. His Praire Gravel team is 3-0 in pool play with 2 more to go tomorrow. I think 4-1 will be a sure advance to the next round.

I appreciate your comments and advice but I wasn't planning on my son doing another PG event until the Underclass National Showcase in Ft. Myers in December, if invited. Goode luck to you and Z.I'll give serious consideration to the Blue-Grey and thanks again.

I just got my invite in the mail today. They saw me at the wwba national championships at east cobb this year. The packet makes it sound great but I would take hearing opinions from people that have been there like zak and mr. ratko over a packet. It might not be a bad idea if I want to try and play down south somewhere. The thing is I wonder if the october dates overlap with the PG/wwba event in jupiter. hmm have to check on that..

I got an invite as well, and was wondering if there are colleges from all over or just in the Florida area. I'm looking to go to a school no more south than North Carolina so would this be worthwile?
