OUTSTANDING ALL AROUND!! Great coach, great facilities, and a great DI schedule. The team will normally produce AT LEAST 1 draft pick each year, and if this is the type of school you are interested in, then by all means GO FOR IT! I was lucky enough to coach their entire starting infield (except their 1B) in the NECBL 3 years ago, and I must say that they all had a "BULLDOG" approach. I loved how all 3 of them played the game, and there is no doubt that is how the entire team functions. I SAY GO FOR IT!!!!!!

Keep in mind that they are not as "military" as the other three academies

Yep, TR, understand that even though I'm told they have a lot of similarities to West Point in some of the things they do. I was referred to the school the other night when two parents talked to me after hearing of my interest to go to West Point. Their son graduated from The Citadel last spring I believe after being waitlisted at West Point.

Can anyone help us with how someone that is not military would do here?

Do they have to wear uniforms everyday?
