This is what Lamber calls himself on other sites. If you read through his threads on this site and others he never gives advice. He also has a big problem with HS Coaches. I'm sure there was a bad experience and this is his payback method.

The reason I'm outing him is because I don't want good coaches to get discouraged by his ranting and leave this site.I know we all have better things to do than listen to ranting. ( And we can get that in other places) I have learned way more from this site than I could have in any book or clinic. This resource is invaluable.

I thank all of you who have helped me become a better Coach. Your time was not wasted.

Coach Labeots:

Don’t be too hard on “Lamber”. Though he might want you to think he is "THE COACH", I’m pretty certain that he is a college sophomore named Brad Schenck who plays at Illinois College (Division 3) in Jacksonville Illinois.

This is the e-mail address that “Lamber” used to register with our site back in January of this year- schenckb@ic.edu. This is his teams link http://www.ic.edu/Athletics/athleticvarsports.htm

We share your concern about the ranting and not wanting to lose good coaches and parents who come to our sites to teach and learn. Unfortunately it‘s just one of the things we all have to deal with on the Internet.

Best wishes.

You call it ranting? I call it exposure. You hide behind the cover of "meaning well" and then give advise that is detrimental to a player who wants to learn to hit and then blame the messenger when you are clearly in the wrong.

I'm still waiting for the clip of the hitter who has both his hands high at finish AND his rear shoulder higher than his front, which you proclaim to be an "absolute" of hitting.

And, BTW, I can use any email address I want to register at your site. Has no bearing on what computer I use, or what my real email address is. You should learn the computer world a little better.

I happen to be a 49 yr. old former DII player who has spent a lifetime learning, and now teaching, the ins and outs of the baseball swing.

As for you Coach Labeots, you'd serve yourself and your team better if you wouldn't pick this fight. You can't win.

You're a young high school coach who barely knows which end of the bat you hold and you want some of me?

Bring it on.

Among your gaffs on this site are the following:

1.) You don't know what a foul tip is. Please.
2.) You teach "hands to the ball" and the fence drill which are proven to stunt a hitters growth.
3.) You're a high school coach who doesn't know what it means to "slot the elbow".

Aren't you a little embarassed to expose your lack of knowledge while at the same time be the leader of young men who want to learn the game.

You are simply another example of the problem with high school baseball. The credentials for holding the job don't have anything to do with baseball knowledge.

Please, if you don't have the knowledge at least learn how to get it without letting everyone know you're another under qualified high school coach.

You don't have to like me. I wouldn't expect you to. But, you have to realize that your players deserve and hope for more than what you can presently offer. I'd spend as much time as I could listening and less time picking fights.

If these internet comments can distract you this much from the game I feel you are in over your head.

PS. I have no idea who THE COACH is. And, I'm more angry at your school district than I am at you.

Haven't read much here lately so I can't judge the relative merits of Lamber's content or his manners. What I DO notice in THIS thread, is he is the only one to mention specific issues relating to baseball (hitting and a rules issue). Everyone else is engaging in purely personal attacks. Has anyone tried to show him to be wrong on hitting issues using logic, clips etc. or no?
