Frank hit his HR's over the light towers. I had the opportunity to play against Frank in South Dakota "Basin League". He played basketball and baseball at Ohio State.

Wow, 6'7".
In the late 60s, Frank Howard was nice enough to talk to me from the on deck circle during a game when the Senators were playing the Red Sox at Fenway Park. He was a massive man and in that at bat hit a HR to LF. It was still rising as it easily cleared the Green Monster and was one of the farthest HRs I have ever seen.
