I found this recent development interesting.   A South Korean ball club has signed a strategic partnership with the Boston Red Sox.

Exactly RJM.   It makes me wonder where baseball is going next.  Most clubs have scouting orgs and farms in the Caribbean/South America.   Sox made inroads & relationships in Japan years ago with Dice-K.   Now it is South Korea.  I'm wondering if other MLB clubs are doing the same.

I second this.

 

I have a friend who is in an executive position with a big league team who is working on developing advanced metrics in NPB, the Japanese professional league. There are a lot of things going on in the international realm of baseball. I think it's absolutely wonderful for the game.
