from what I understand the bat is amazing. spoke to a local rep who has seen it tested at some local high schools.(forgetting all the besr testing and whatever the heck it all means) says the ball just jumps off the bat. in the local tests, HS kids who had never put one out were knocking 'em over the fences.

The bat has carbon fiber i believe throughout the handle for added stiffness.

As far as the stiff vs. flex, my understanding is Louisville is a big proponent of the stiff "theory". What i've typcially heard is if you have the power and generate good bat speed on your own, the flex will hurt you and that there's a certain give to it that outweighs any positive "whip" effect you might get. The whip supposedly helps the hitter that doesn't generate enough bat speed on their own noidea

My son has tried both the Easton "stiff" and "flex" and prefers the stiff, but as far as games has always used Louisville anyway (typically the various Omaha generations).
