The "Other" Spring Break Tournament

Several of the better programs locally and in the state of Virginia will be participating in the H.I.T Tournament in Charleston, SC.

 

Nansemond River, Grassfield, Great Bridge, Hickory, will be participating along with other top programs including James River, Oakton, Lake Braddock, and Madison amongst others.  A number of the better teams in South Carolina are also represented.  It should be a great week of very good competition.

Both of you are correct.  After checking the updated team list, Kellam is not participating!  Though they have been down there in the past, and I recall seeing them on the list previously.

 

And yes, NR is technically not in the tournament, due to VHSL game limits.  (They could have been, but picked up a game against Dinwiddie.)  Nonetheless, they are in the pool and therefore playing the same group of teams.  No different than all of them have done in the past.  Semantics.
