If he is lurking and reading, let it be known that I have heard from some who post in the pitching threads that they DO miss him, whether they agreed with him or not, his posts sparked lively and interesting discussions.
I won't tell you who out of confidance, they can do that on their own.

TPM I know he sparked a lively thread. He chose to leave and some asked him not to go.
He is not the 1st and won't be the last to get people attacking him. Some take the ball and go away and others stay and debate.
I personally got bored with him infecting every pitching thread and had stopped debating with him. My views about his theories haven't changed and I don't intend to debate him anymore. I had already stopped before he left.
I don't agree with several points of posters on pitching but I always try to not get personal. After all I don't know him personally but have had private talks with him.
