I don't know what happened lately but my son has been getting several calls and emails. Yes, I'm glad and proud, but the wierd thing is that their mostly coming from places my son, nor I, would have ever guessed. For example....Can you say Savannah College of Art and Design? That's SCAD for short. The Bee's coaching staff have made a wonderful presentation and their desire to have my son join their team left us wondering if Georgia might not be a bad place to beeee. That's a pun... They said they saw my son playing in a Team One event down in Atlanta. I remember that one, but never thought the bees were watching. I don't mean to make lite of this. It's just one more example of how this "process" is going.

I'm glad for the one's that have already made "verbal" committments, but I'm kind of glad this is happening the way it is now....I've always wanted him to have choices and well, this could get interesting!

If it's about fit, I suppose my son's choice needs to fit like his infielders glove.

SCAD does have a couple of campuses, but the atheltics are out of the Savana campus. Basball plays at a nice stadium, my son's team played them last year down there. And he has a former HS teamamte who plays for them. As you know, its a NAIA school, and usaully at the top of their conferance. If I recall they start play as early as Jan.
Good luck, looks like things are going good for your son.
Great Coaching staff. Very nice guys. I saw them play a series in Jacksonville last year. They had a pitcher drafted this year very early by the Yankees (Pope).

They do start their season in January as they are an NAIA school and don't have to abide by the NCAA rules. They play a nice schedule with enough travel. As far as the campus .... there is nothing bad that you can say about the City of Savannah.
