I was reworking my stance a little bit now that my season is over, and tried to incorporate some things I picked up from Major Leaguers. I notices how Gary Sheffield wiggles the bat back and forth as he waits for a pitch, and I tried it. I was swinging much quicker and hitting the ball harder. My dad told me is was basic physics, (body in motion stays in motion, etc.). What do you guys think?

Do whatever works for you

Sheffield's bat movement is his timing device--all part of the rhythm of the swing---wath all the good hitters in the bigs--they have some sort of "quirky" thing they do that is part of the hitting rhythm

My son didnt move the bat but twitched his right elbow as his timing device- and he wasnt even aware of it--it was just a natural mechanism for him
Ladies and Gentlemen

I hate to break it to you but baseball aint all that scientific--the "new website gurus' and their followers want you to think that so they can sell you their products--the game is simple if you approach it the right way and dont look for a quick fix

Think about all the great hitters in the game--each did his own thing--

Play the game--be natural in your instincts and HAVE FUN !!!!
