I ran across a pretty cool tv series on the MOJO HD network called The Show. The series follows the Diamondbacks AAA club through part of the 2006 season. Its been interesting to watch Carlos Quentin and Chris Young working toward their call up to the big club. Has anyone been watching it?

If you haven't found the program yet it is part of the High Definition package on our cable network. I think this link will tell you what cable systems are showing it.

The Show has been running for a few months. I liked the comments from Quentin when he got called up. He was awed he had his own hotel room, and the per diem they handed him in cash for a road trip was more than his previous minor league paycheck.

Young has been starting for the D'backs all season. Quentin started the season for the D'backs, struggled and got sent down. He was just called up again. Nippert was called up early, sent back last month and just called up again. Barden was up for a couple of weeks this summer, recently released and now starts for the Memphis Redbirds. Murphy just got his first call to The Show and had a rough outing. Daigle was not called up for September.

If you go to the D'backs mlb.com website, go to the roster and click on Murphy's page, there's an interview with him about getting traded three times in the minors (twice in two days).
