You know what luvbb? I think when I turned those chickens right side up....I had a visionary moment......like next time I want chicken....I'm going across the street to the grocery store....$7.99 for a cooked bird, 2 sides and a loaf of french bread....

I'll save my new roaster for ribs and roast....they don't care what side is up.....
AZRed - I'm so sorry to hear about the chickens!!! I had big hopes for you and that roaster! Big Grin

As most of you know - it's just myself and my 16 year old daughter at home now. I told a friend the other night that the common question from my son when I was headed home from work was "what's for dinner". Now my daughter will call me and say "are you cooking". More often than not, the answer is NO! Baseball season was good practice for me!!!

Izzismom - Like your solution!!
Cooking? Is that what my beatiful kitchen is for? I thought it was a place to hang my copper pots and etched wine glasses. I would hate to get any kind of sauce on my matching towels and decorative hot pad! In my house, Hamburger Helper is a gourmet favorite. They have so many varieties. My family was here at Christmas and couldn't find the sugar...oh yeah...I didn't have any.
My point...YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
What a coincidence, I was just thinking last night (while cooking supper) that I really do not like to cook! I was wondering if most other women just naturally like to cook and maybe even clean. I would rather do "paid" work and let someone else do the cooking and cleaning. But I was realizing that even though my youngest is heading off to college next year, I will still feel obligated to cook at least a couple of dinners a week ... forever I guess ... cuz my hubby really appreciates a home-cooked meal. But he sincerely does say thank you for every meal I cook. And he's awfully cute. inlove
Thanks ladies.....I'm feeling better....but for those of you who have husbands that cook....enjoy.....it must be so very nice......where did you find them....and do they take trade ins????? NO....cancel that thought....he can't cook, but he can eat......and.....

While mine can make planes fly.....helicopters too....for some reason he becomes completely challanged when opening a can of soup......but that's okay....he can't cook.....but he's okay when I fail at it too..... inlove

Great topic ... I miss the regular games for the same reason ... hubby likes a home cooked meal and we seldom eat out when baseball is not happening, but I do NOT like to cook. Unfortunately, even tho I don't like to cook, I have turned out to be a pretty good cook (note ... arm was injured while patting myself on the back). But, I am fortunate enough to not have to work outside the home so I guess cooking a decent meal for hubby is worth the benefit.

By the way ... what does your hubby do to make things fly? Mine works at the control tower at LAX so he helps keep them flying Big Grin

Hmmmm ... from what I have "heard", your hubby definitely sounds like an improvement over previous models penguinflap

Know what? I don't really like to cook either. I do really enjoy cooking about twice a week. I do it, though, our girls are 11 and 12 and I really need to watch what they are eating. My husband, bless him, really just doesnt care about food most of the time. When my son comes home from school, he thinks he's going to hit the jackpot with home cooked meals, and this past Christmas break - he was a bit surprised when I just didn't cook all the time. But look out, I love to bake chef
