Well, it looks like maybe....just maybe that the day my son has been waiting for for a long time may actually come around. He's had a couple good weeks in summer ball....and a really good showcase. The day after the showcase he got an email from a D1 telling him to call to set up a visit. He spoke to the R/C yesterday. He said he had seen him twice...and the HC is coming to see him this weekend. His quote...."if the HC likes what he sees, we can have a serious discussion when you come out later this month". Also yesterday another D1 called my son's coach....asked about him and actually mentioned a percentage that they were considering. They didn't say that they definitely were going to offer....but his coach has a lot of experience and said that if they are calling him and asking if we would take XX% that something is likely to happen fairly soon. Both schools play in good conferences....and are close enough that we could get to every home game....and a lot of away games. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end. From what we've heard the first offer is the toughest....then word gets out and it seems to get things going. He's happy to play anywhere...but the two he's hearing from now would both be great fits for him.

Great to hear. I wish you both the very best.
Exciting times indeed! I hope his choices are plentiful. All the best during this wonderful time for the family. Keep us updated.
That is very cool, nice to see all the hard work is starting to pay off
That's awesome! Keep us updated.
That's fun crap right there!
That is great news.
Congrats
is he only looking at D1 schools? Do your due deligence and check into these schools as far as how many kids similar to your son are starting, or are they on bench waiting behind several other players at same position. Also, how many older Juco players have they added to roster, then can come in and get ahead of someone "waiting"
just saw this happen to someone we know and they thought son would be playing a lot more then he is. Some kids may sit bench at D1 while they could play sooner/more at D2, not saying that is true in your sons case, just general statement.
New to process, cast a wide net, and good luck.
Great news.....keep your foot on the gas, and don't stop looking at other schools too!
Congrats! It sounds like great things on the horizon for your son! I hope you will keep us posted!
