With the July 1st so-called "magic date" appproaching you might want to THINK ABOUT THIS.

If every kid in the country went to the "school of his dreams" or "school of his choice" where would the other schools get the players for their rosters.

Not looking to stifle dreams here but just trying to get you into a realistic view of the situation that is about to confront you

Do not turn you back on any inquiries because you never know what will happen as you come down the home stretch to signing.

My own guys had their dreams but it does not always work out and for various reasons-- grades--- too many players at your position---etc

Make sure you have back up plans in mind early--do not wait too long and then get left out in the cold.

Bottom line---keep an open mind because you never know what will fall in your lap---trust me I have been there and seen it not only with my own boys but with our players

Good Luck !!!!

and the offer isn't real until signed. Though we are in a good fit situation now, an attractive offer was rescinded after being told, "take your time, no rush, ... comfortably have until mid-August," not so. Son called coach back way before that stated time and was ummm-ed & ahhh-ed and told, "already promised the money to some others." It was a welcome to recruiting that we didn't think we'd see. So ... as a poster responded at that time, I'll second their recommendation, though I've used different words ... offer isn't real until signed. Again, it was a lesson but NOT THE END of the road. Glad to have learned up front that the staff spoke out of different sides of their mouths. Our son is heading elsewhere and happy to be doing so!
