This umpire has 2 strikes

An inspiring story. He obviously has a good sense of humor:

Years ago, a woman heckled him for three innings until finally Moore sat next to her between innings. When play was about to resume, he shouted, "Play ball!" but continued to sit in the stands.
"What are you doing?" the woman asked.
"Starting the game," he said.
"What do you mean? You can't call the game from here."
"Well, I thought since you can do it so well from over here, I might as well sit here, too."
The woman laughed and didn't say anything else the rest of the game.
